Summer is Approaching!

PARKING INFORMATION FOR THE SUMMER SEASON!

Summer is approaching and due to St. Edmond’s proximity to the beach parking meters will become active, and finding a spot may become more challenging.

Parking Changes

Starting Wednesday, May 15 parking meters will be in effect in the City of Rehoboth (meter rates are $4 per hour/10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. daily), they will be active through September 15. During Masses meters will be suspended within a two block radius of the Church. After you leave Mass you must pay the meter if you would like to remain parked (if you are planning to go to the beach, breakfast, etc.).

Parking permits will be required for permit spaces from May 15 through September 15, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. If you would like to park in a space marked permit parking, you must purchase a parking permit from the Parking Department at City Hall or one of the Parking Kiosks (at 408 Rehoboth Ave or 700 block of Bayard Ave). There will be no suspension on permit parking spaces during Masses, so do not use one unless you have a permit.

During the summer months please plan on leaving early for Mass to allow a little extra time to find a parking spot, especially on weekends and holidays.
